After Effects experiment....

after looking at the videos that I found on YouTube I kind of got inspired and I was experimenting with after effect...these two little animation that I did in after effects...the more I am getting used to it the more I am loving it..so I have finally decide to do my final outcome on after effects...

research...

here I have found some very interesting animation of typography...at the moment I am bit confuse about my final outcome and I think these animation will definitely help me to make my mind up..

very smoothly done and I really like the colours of the fonts...

I really like how all the different effects has been used for each sentences...

it makes you think what word you will get when it will over... that's what I love about this little animation...

first session

we had one session where motion graphic designers and illustrator were together..we had to split in different groups...there was one illustrator and two motion graphic designers...our task was to make a short animation for 20 second...we had to show word "ARTS"...

I think this session was really helpful because we had deadline which made us to concentrate on our task...we thought about story board and then we started working on After Effects...we got picture of spider from net and then we started to playing around with it...we decided that the spider will follow the outline of the word A...it worked in the beginning but then we don't know what happened, the white outline wasn't showing from the half way....

I think it was good experience and we definitely lernt something from it...

So the idea was, that we'd start with a single spider coming down...

whose route would be highlighted by the white trail of webbing he left behind...

which would follow him as he climbed the outline of each letter...

and filled it in bit by bit...

until each letter individually started to form...

before finishing it off and moving on to the next one...

How the logo might look itself overall when in the process of being "webbed"...

experiment....

Equisite clock..

here i have found very interesting website...

this is the actual website...
it changes every second...
it also gives you so many different options as well..next image shows you how many different options you can get....

after looking at this website i have tried to do similar stuff...so i went on google and looked for letter "A","R","T","S"....

A
R
T
S

after collecting all the letters i then used a software called "window movie maker".
i opened all the letters on the new project..i put them all in right order and then one by one set them in random order..after that i set the timing for all the images...i had so many images and the whole slides went over the time so i had to set the time for each and every images...

i have use the actual logo of sky arts at the end....

this is the final outcome...
